Thank you to all the families that came on Friday to celebrate mother's day with us! Our class always enjoys visitors! :) We hope all the moms/grandmas/aunts loved the roses! Do you know roses are plants? All flowers are plants! But there's more to plants than flowers! This month, we're learning all about plants! At the Queens County Farm, we all planted radish seeds! They're going tall and strong on our windowsill! We even started a plant journal to write about how much its changing! Later on this month, we will be growing other vegetables too!

Also when you go to the library, try looking in the nonfiction section for books about real things! They are great books to read and also to learn more about our world!
